Visited on 6/10/12.
I always have to visit this Thai restaurant when I am in Tacoma. I have never had a bad meal and the service is always great.
On this visit we ordered chicken satay, pad Thai, yum mama, yellow chicken curry, and crispy garlic chicken. K said his satay was good and L agreed. A loves the pad thai and it was also liked by L and J. It tasted like a good example of pad thai to me but I do not enjoy the dish so I only tasted it. J ordered the crispy garlic chicken and the table had no trouble helping her. This is my favorite dish here, the chicken is very crisp with lots of garlic. The sweet chili sauce gives it a nice kick and mellows the garlic. The dish is topped off with crisply fried basil leaves. I ordered the yellow curry chicken and enjoyed it, another familiar dish done well. L chose the yum mama, an interesting and very tasty noodle dish. The only miss for us was the level of heat, we thought everything was mild but only one dish was ordered that way, there should have been a range. I was surprised by this as I have not encountered that problem here before.
The tea is very good but again the usual J was not along to sample the beers.
I still will not give this a miss when in town.
