Boulders on Broadway

Visited on 6/19/12.

We went here for lunch on a Tuesday, it was very quiet all through lunch which we ended around 1 pm.

The starter was called pizza nuggets. They were quite a shock when they arrived, somehow the description and name did not bring to mind a medium sized cheese pizza cut into small pieces. The taste was fine but there was too much even with four working on it. I would most likely not order this item again.

I chose the meatball stromboli with waffle fries. The stromboli was well made and quite tasty, but I did not care for the texture of the meatballs. The waffle fries were crispy and not greasy. I had enough for J to have dinner later. D had a salad that seemed to have chicken on it (I forgot to ask her which salad) that looked very good. D liked her salad and there was enough there for two. B got the mushroom swiss burger with waffle fries. She said the burger was good, it certainly looked good. Again, the portion was large. J got the salmon salad which he said was very good.

I liked the tea but the cider was not one of my favorites, a bit heavy. J loves the beer choices here.

Service was prompt and very attentive without being intrusive.

A definite keeper.
