Big Horn Steak House

Visited on Dec. 15, 2012.

I did not realize that this was a big chain. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for linner or lupper (you choose the word). The restaurant was comfortable and quiet. The waiter was attentive when we arrived. As the meal progressed, the waiter was more and more difficult to get and then she ended up with a huge party.

The food was mediocre. The steak was way too pricey for the quality of the meat. The flavor was very mild and the meat was not cooked as ordered. The gratineed potatoes that accompanied it were clearly microwaved, warm to hot in the very center and cold elsewhere. Potatoes topped by congealed cold melted cheese are just not tasty. The corn under the steak was tasty but only luke warm. The house salad that we ordered was tasty, I enjoyed the different take on salad.

In general, it was an okay experience but I am not likely to go again.
