JD’s Sports Bar & Grill

Wow, this one was really rather awful. The bright spot was the very prompt service which proved to be surly in the end. The room was in need of repair and felt dated and vaguely dirty. There was no beer list, something that irks J.

We started with the spinach dip which had a good flavor and contained a lot of spinach. My salad was just a watery bowl of lettuce with a couple of tomato pieces and croutons thrown on the top. I tried the chicken nuggets which turned out to be reformed chopped meat, they were flavorless and nasty textured, I ate very few. J went for the fish and chips which he did say were okay, meaning he could eat them. D and N split a BLT. They said it was too heavy on the mayo and had a lot of bacon, overall just okay.

I did not find any beverage that was suitable for me. J was underwhelmed by the beer choices.
