This one was located in the Mandalay Place shops between the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. It was our punt after the BBP disaster. They were able to give us a reservation for our large group at fairly short notice and even seat people who arrived a bit early.
J chose a build your own buffalo burger on a pretzel bun; he did not add to the lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle that came on it. I also chose virtually the same thing except that I omitted the onions that came with and added caramelized onion. We found the burgers to be pretty good and the bun stood up well without being too tough. Once again, they use grain finished bison which is a pity. D did a similar burger and said that is was good but he did not notice any difference from beef. DC chose a standard beef burger and like it. JC chose a more liquid lunch than the rest; a loaded bloody Mary (I forget the actual name). This was a bloody Mary garnished with a meal that included a miniature burger, a chicken wing, celery stalk, asparagus, olives, and I cannot recall the rest. She enjoyed it and found it very filling. R selected hot wings which came with a very generous portion of fries, celery and baby carrots (she chose ranch). She said they were quite good. I have forgotten what R2 ordered but he seemed to enjoy his meal as well.
Some of us ordered skinny fries and some fat fries. It was hard to tell the difference at first glance but closer inspection showed the fat fries to be a more standard cut and skinny closer to shoestring cut. They also had the choice of steak fries.
J found an acceptable beer and I found an acceptable cider.
All in all, a pretty good place. Not fantastic but better than average.
